DSLR time lapse facing south on storms with considerable lightning to develop on the overnight. Watch for the wind shift as industrial emissions backing towards the west into the parent system divert to the east upon passage.

Radar animation and stills sequence looking inside the notch of a severe thunderstorm that appeared ominous both on radar and under the base. There was no lightning so I positioned to where I thought city light would help to see the cloud features. Though mostly outflow dominate, the activity suggests it was trying to wrap up some. This was part of a significant outbreak of severe weather this day including a damaging EF2 tornado up north at Caledonia IL.
